Also I meant to add you may want to speak with a Hepatologist ,given they are dealing with HCV treatments and other diseases of the liver in regards to his/her knowledge about the drug Enbrel and its possible problems post HCV treatment.
Best..

Congratulations on being SVR for three years now. SVR is extremely sustainable as documented in the study data I copied below
.
I am not familiar with the treatment that has been recommended to you nor the drug Enbrel,.however for the rheumatologist to tell you it may cause relapse ,I would ask him to show you peer -.reviewed data stating that this drug may be causel of HCV in a patient that has been SVR for 3 years before I would put any weight in just his opinion
Again.. congrats and good luck with the condition you are fighting presently

In conclusion, we have observed that in patients with chronic hepatitis C treated with PEG-IFN and ribavirin, the durability of SVR exceeds 99% for up to 7 years of follow-up. Although 'late' virological relapse may occur in less than 1% of the patients, this phenomenon is mainly confined within 1 year after assessment of the SVR. Clinical outcome of patients who obtain SVR is excellent, although patients with cirrhosis are still at risk of hepatocelluar carcinoma despite HCV-RNA negativization and therefore need adequate surveillance.
