Cleaning and transmission of hep c

This is what happened today.just uncle is a meth addict i thought he quit because  he started to go to methadone clinic he used my bathroom today and after he was done I noticed blood all over the place he does have hep c. them he went in the living room and was touching my babies hands I didn't see blood but I really don't know how it works. I then cleaned the bathroom with bleach since that is all I had i wore gloves and used paper towels. I cleaned the bathroom but decided to use my other bathroom to clean the baby. As i was taking off the babies clothes i noticed that he had a scratch on his hand and it was not bleeding though and the baby stuck his hand in my mouth by accident i do have bleeding gums went to the dentist. I wonder if I have anything to worry about in this scenario. I know i sound dumb I don't really know how it works are if i'm cleaning the right way and before you ask I told him that he is no longer welcome at my house until he gets over it.

Thanks for reading through this I real know very little about the disease.

No what I was saying was I didn't see blood on my babies hands after he touched them not that my uncle wasn't bleeding because he was he shoot his vein up wrong and admitted it when he left. I was sop upset writing this that I probably should have said i didn't see blood on the babies hands after my uncle touched them sorry.

It's a good question for this scenario and it's always a good idea to get tested. Everyone should get tested.

Cleaning up with bleach and wearing gloves is the exact right thing to do. I do not think that you are at risk from the baby putting his hand in to your mouth. The baby is not at risk either since he wasn't bleeding and it seems the uncle wasn't bleeding either.
