A cut can't transmit hepc.  Hepc is transmitted when the infected blood from one person enters the bloodstream of the other person.  Even you have a bleeding wound and infected blood is transferred to another individuals skin hepc can't be transmitted topically unless there is an open wound on the other individual and then it has to enter the bloodstream.  Transmission in that manner is much more difficult than people realize.
You don't even know if you have hepc so until you test don't make yourself and others around you crazy about this.  If you suspect you may have contracted the disease take the necessary precautions to prevent transmission until you have the results from the test.
