Good for you, the first shot is the toughest. I was so scared the first one. You get used to them quick. I wish you the best of luck on tx
way to go!!!
now that you have begun the journey remember we all will be here for you.
just a suggestion, you might want to rotate your shots from tummy to outer upper thigh area and vise versa, and keep a lot of water around;
( body weight halved in ounces ) is usually the recommended amount of water to drink daily.
may your journey be a good one, my prayers are with you. :O)
Thanks everyone. The shot wasn't bad at all. Needle was pretty sharp and went in easy. Now I wait to see if I can tell anything weird. That's kinda strange right now. I'm home alone. Two of my boys are in town for a wedding so they'll at least be back around later on tonight. I'll keep you posted. Ricki
It's good to get the first shot over with...you're on your way now.
Sending you positive thoughts!

Congrats on getting the 1st out of the way. it is hard but usually not as awful as we've all imagined. I'm on week 61 and most times i don't even think about it anymore - just jab myself while watching Cesar Milan the Dog whisperer or something else equally inane and distracting. :)

Congrats! The first few you might feel a little unconfident, but after that - it is easy. the hardest one is the first and now that is behind you, so thats great!
Smooth sailing for you thru tx - I hope!
