going for CT SCAN tomorrow

Hi again,
Diagnosed with HCV 3 months ago
I saw my doctor today and the results are

Alkaline phosphatase  186   H
AST                               138   H
ALT                              147   H

Platelets                        79,000  L
Biliburin, Direct                0.3      H
Viral Load                    288,928 <43 UL/ML

My doctor suspects Cirrohosis so he is ordering CT SCAN and Biopsy. He also talk about treatment.
If it happens that I have Cirrohosis . Can I reberse the cirrrosis with treatment. I have no symptoms except for feeling tire.

"Can I reverse the cirrrosis with treatment."

Some patients who achieve SVR (treat successfully) do see improvements in their liver histology and that includes some degree of cirrhosis regression.

Cirrhosis Regression During HCV Therapy Associated With Improved Liver-Related Morbidity, Mortality During Long-term Follow-up
Source: 2008 Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of the Liver*

Summary of Key Conclusions

Cirrhosis regression occurs in patients chronically infected with HCV following antiviral therapy and impacts clinical outcome
No liver-related events including cancer, transplantation, or death in patients with regression of cirrhosis even if veremia persists
Should consider cirrhosis regression a primary endpoint in patients with cirrhosis.

HCV Clearance Key to Liver Fibrosis Regression

Megan Brooks
Mar 28, 2013

In addition, cirrhosis regression was more frequent in the sustained virologic responders (11.0%) than in the null responders (2.8%; P = .04) and the treatment-naïve patients (1.6%; P < .001). Regression to liver fibrosis stage F0 to F2 or a decrease in liver stiffness greater than 30% was more frequent in the sustained virologic responders than in the treatment-naïve patients (21.7% vs 7.4%; P < .001). Median liver stiffness decreased significantly in the sustained virologic responders (P < .001) and increased in the null responders (P = .01).
