As screaming48 has mentioned . alt  &ast often fluctuate during treatment. The only test that confers how your VL is doing is the PCR. You mention UND at the 1st and 3rd month ..and hopfully at the 6th month mark.
You may want to request a PCR now ,to put your mind at ease.
Best..

My ALT and AST went up at week 8 (I am on wk 10) but my doctor did not seem to have any concerns as they will fluctuate, as screaming48 did say.

Meds can make your liver enzynes increase.  Have you introduced any new meds to your normal regime?  (example: pain meds, aspirin)  Just a thought...

From what I understand from other members on the forum the ast and alt can fluctuate during treatment and also that ast and alt really don't tell the whole story with what your liver is doing congrats on being und. Hopefully other members with more knowledge than me will pop in and help out. anne
