I dunno, I pinch my tummy, insert needle, let go of pinch so I can pull back plunger to see if there's any blood, if not, I inject, slow and steady. ( I only pinch skin to insert needle initially, then I let go) Mine started to leak at about half way through the injection but I was trying to hurry so I may have pushed the meds too fast. Hey, it does happen every so often, I do see posts about it. I was just concerned cause it was my 12th shot.
We will both shoot slower next week ;-))
Mine had excess leakage this weekend too. I know I got some in but there was more than seemed reasonable on the surface of my skin. I think I let go of the pinched skin too early or something. I think that sort of made it back out. Not sure if that was it. What do you think.

Thanks again wyntre!
I will post my 12 week-er when I get it. Having over a 2 log drop doesn't
really make a difference as to what the 12 week will be. (From what I've read on this board)
I've already talked this over with my DR. (What if I'm not UND by 12 weeks) and he said we have another plan in place--butI will continue on TX. I'll let you know what happens.
Truthfully, FOR ME, it's better that I take one day at a time with this TX. I used to read this board all the time several years ago and now I just come by ever so often. It scares me to read too much now that I actually am doing TX. If I'm having a problem, I post a question, or read through some archives.

Procrit sounds lousy. I've heard other people on forum talk about it

I'm only on 800mg. of Riba so there is no lowering that dose, had no choice but to use Procrit.
(Geno--1b with heart condition)
Ya gotta do what ya gotta do LOL I HATE needles, if feels so wrong for me to stick one (or 2) into my body. Kinda like pulling your own tooth LOL I'm a wuss! Let's hope my sugar stays stable throughout, just the thought of taking insulin is scary. (My dad was diabetic)
Enjoy the rest of your weekend...

You should be fine.
I've had a leaking syringe twice and once the entire syringe malfunctioned and I had to call Caremark for a replacement.
With a 2 log drop by week 4 it looks like you're in good shape.
I didn't reach UND until week 17: I'm a slow responder, but since reachng UND I've stayed that way for the past 31 weeks.
Procrit sounds lousy. I've heard other people on forum talk about it. My hgB hasn't gone below 11 so I guess I'm lucky.
Be sure to post your 12 weeks when you get them.

TY for answering, I feel better now.
I know there is nothing I can do about it now,
but it helps to hear it may be OK. :-))
I've missed a couple of times, too, in the past 48 weeks.
From what I understand, it's fairly common and as long as you got some of the peg into your system you should be ok.
I also don't think one reduced dose would interfere with UND in just one week. IMHO, that is.
