Began tx today

I began a Phase III trial today:  BI201335 + Interferon and Ribavirin.  I was okay for a couple of hours after taking the  medication; however was not able to hold it down.  Will take the 2nd dose of Rib around 7:00 tonight.  No problems since I took a nap.  Plan to go to work tomorrow.
I really like the doctor and my program administrator, they are both kind and patient.  Thts treatment is scheduled for 24 weeks; I will know at week 8 if I am responding ...  The anticipation has been bareable because of this site.   Thanks to everyone that participates here, you all help me.

Do you have to be pregnant to take all this to bed? Damn!

I take them about 8 P.M. with a few small spoons of Ben And Jerry's - a very worthwhile suggestion from NYGirl (The ice cream)  I really struggled for about 2 weeks with the nausea but then it disappeared.  I also had ginger ale and crackers by the bed - like being pregnant.  I also found that I do better eating little bits all day instead of anything substantial at one sitting.

I think everyone is so different, you will have to experiment to find what works for you.

Best of luck

Anne

Thanks, I took my 2nd dose of Riba about 30 mins ago and praying that it stays down.  I was wondering if it makes a difference if I take the meds directly after eating or should I wait 20-30 min before taking meds?
