Hi Jill, welcome to the discussion group--
This appears to be your viral load test; the number you're referring to is most likely the amount of virus in your blood, and generally expressed as international units per milliliter (IU/mL). Either of these numbers is quite common for HCV infection; a low viral load is now considered <400,000 IU/mL. These numbers aren't really significant until treatment commences; at that time, they'll act as a barometer to tell you how you're responding to the medication. I don't know why you have two numbers; could they be referring to a previous test, possibly?
Good luck to you,
Bill
I'm nearly 4 years since Tx and I still don't know what any of my test numbers mean but I am getting alot of help from some very nice people on this site since I found it about 4 days ago and I am so thankful. I'm learning to navigate and found the list of Acronyms which helps me understand what they are talking about. Good luck to you Frank E
Here Jill, this a link to documented viral load equivalents.

Keep researching before you decide to treat. Many people clear the virus with tx, there are a lot of facts that weigh into whether you clear or not. Good luck to you in whatever your decision is!
