liver enzymes doubled

I posted this earlier but wasn't sure if it made it on the forum.

I just had my liver enzymes checked after about three months, and they have doubled.  The first time they were checked when I was diagnosed with Hep C they were 200 AST and 400 ALT.  They are now 475 AST and 665 ALT.  I have been doing everything the doctors tell me, eating very healthy, no red meat, everything organic, low fat, walking, no alcohol, no prescription medication, etc., etc.  Does anyone know why they would go up so quickly?

I also had a question about what tranquilizers work well for while on treatment.  I think I may need them when I get started and would like to get a jump on which ones work well.

Starting treatment in July for Genotype 2a.  Quite nervous, but anxious to get started.

No, Emma—

Many of us in here have had liver enzymes 10, 20 and 50 times normal and are fine. Good luck with your ultrasound and labs tomorrow, and if you like, let us know what the doctor says.

Take care—
