lol yeh i had a giggle at that guess too cos it would have to be cut in half etc for it to grow back yeh?lol but he prob meant it was repairing itself n growing new cells???n i kinda thought tht too.
thanx for info guys but its strange how ev1 i know,i know lots of ppl with hep c n they all have this dull n sometimes painful ache around liver area n it wouldnt just be coincidence but i hope its my gallbladder or sumthin, ultrasound 2moz so il know if its fatty liver then n then go from there.

i would guess it has nothing to do with the HCV. Liver pain is not that common with HCV. It is way down the list of symptoms.

rock, that is way to funny "liver re-growing". you made my night. fell off the chair laughing.

lol i was very tired last night when i typed this,my spelling was a bit off but u all got the drift of it.
im just concerned that something is wrong and hoping i havnt been reinfected, but like u all said b4 that kissing with ulcers in my mouth prob wouldnt be much of a risk.
anyhow i had my PCR done a few days ago cos i thought if i left it over 6 wks then it will def show up if iv bn infected again and i am booked in for an ultrasound on liver 2moz at noon so im hoping its not hep c and thats its just fatty liver or that, cos my gastro doc seems to think it might be fatty liver.i want to get a biopsy even if im cured cos i need to know wht the hell is wrong.its not a contant ache, its just like a few times per week but sometimes more and it depends on wht i eat too.the doc said if it was gall bladder causing the aches it would be sharp pain not dull achey kind of pain n iv had hep c for 15yrs n i know exactly wht my liver aches are like n thats wht it is,or wht it feels like i should say.

so does any of u have any aches now u r cured???is it really uncommon to ache after SVR?
thanx guys :)

Especially after treatment when you are SVR with great LFTs -the whole 'capsule surrounding the liver' theory doesn't even make any sense when applied.  You should have it checked out it could be something completely unrelated.

gall stones? liver really doesn't produce pain.
