well thank god someone else  knows what i've been through. my specialist seemed to think its phsycosematic because liver scarring was not extensive. I also suffered through treatment and at the time put it down to ribivarin as chest pain was one of the reported side effects. changing my diet and post treatment excersise has been beneficial

THANKS,, you are the first person to validate the pain at night. I saw two doctors (one a well know Gastro) and both of them said they saw no relation to my liver and the pain I get at night. Mine comes and goes and now I  know it is related to what I eat. I used to get it so bad it would wake me up. Changing diet, adding LOTS of vitamins and Ursodiol seems to have helped. During the day; I can feel discomfort around my rib cage torwards the bottom of rib cage. Thanks...

sorry mate, youre hep seems to be more advanced than mine.I do on occasions have what I call "liver trama" which is usually brought on by eating too much fat. I think in my own experiences avoiding alcahol and high fat diet has been essential to keeping pain at bay.
ps. does your pain come in waves lat at night?
