throid question

i'm geno 1..stage 1 to 2 ..grade 2..(bx 6/15/07)..i've had lots of symptoms for quite a while...(at least 8 years)...i am 55...have known i had c since march  06...i don't know if this is a thyroid problem or not...about 8 years ago i was choking on a chunk of meat and gave myself the heimlick manoruvre..shot the meat out about 10 feet...only one of my daughters was there and too young to help...so time goes on and my throat just doesn't seem right...2 years ago i was out to dinner with my x wife and her parents and got a chunk of meat stuck in my throat...i stood up turned around and my x did the heimlick ...well now i'm eating really good(except dark chocolate habit) and doing better as time goes on except for my throat and some other sx.....this morning i almost choked on a muffin....it's had to swallow a lot of the time...i'm waiting for tx for when the vx 950 comes out..i don't take any thing...maybe i should try vitiman b6 or b12?.......anyway .....any help or input????thanks....billy

You need to see a doctor to evaluate whether you have scar tissue or some other structural problem. That doesn't sound like thyroid to me.

other sx of course the tiny red spots around my liver area...i showed them to my x who went through tx 4 years ago and she said everyone has them and they don't go away....ever..her's are still there..i get itching a lot...i get a place on my right leg that gets sores at times.i also get heat palpitations sometimes mostly in the middle of the night.(i think thats mental though)..and fatigue...now whats funny that i just don't know about is my fatigue is real bad from may to end of august..real bad on sunny windy days...the warmer the worce it is...it got bad enough for me to drive head on into anothjer car...or fall asleep at work anywhere..on a roof or just anywhere...now i am getting better or seem to be but it's slow...thats from a new diet...for a while i was almost passing out a lot now thats getting better....the never knowing when i'm going to choke is a drag...also i got really weak..at least for me..i used to be able to do 75 push ups any time..now maybe 20...i'm back up to running 1 mile and mt biking 5 or 6..a few times a week....still not too much exercise.....just low energy....and brain fog a lot...i get lots of sx that people on tx get...although i'm sure not that bad....thats it good luck...billy

What other symptoms are you experiencing.  I have a hyperthyroid problem.  My thyroid problem causes me to sweat excessive and have heart palpitations sometimes.  It has accelerated my metabolism.  Swelling at the base of the neck is usually a symptom of a thyroid problem.  You should see an endocrinologist for a thyroid blood test.
