47 week and questions

Just took my 47 week shot wed. and still have lots of questions. At this point I'm so tired that it seems like I cant do anything other then sit.If I do anything my heart races like crazy, and I have to stop.Just had an EKG and when the veterans hospital seen it they decided to give me an ECHO. That seems like it came back OK but still have a problem with me doing anything as my heart wont let me.Is this affect going away or will this be with me for a while?I'm suppose to be monitored for several months after next week but only for blood work and ekg and eyes, is there a problem with this because I've been on the platelet trail for the whole time and who knows where they will fall into play.Doing this in Miami has been a lousy experience and I wonder whats in store when I stop my med. 8/13/09.It seems like there is no one on one help especially when you need to contact them from home.Anybody know the answers to those ? please let me know. From the tests, I have no virus since the 12 and 24 week and I guess we will find out soon, if it comes back.Again through some of these tests, show my spleen enlarged and I wonder if that will go back to normal. Thanks

Came back and found out my blood for the last month of MED was real good less then 5 on the count, platelets are around 115 and next load count in November. My bilirubin total was 0.6 and previous was 2.6, dont know what other #'s are important to you that know but I'm happy so far and feel pretty good, as long as this virus dont come back.

Just want to say 1 month after med I'm starting to feel much better. The last month was hell for sure. The miami place I was getting treatments for a year, goofed up last friday when I went there for blood work so now I have to go this friday.Still dont know anything until this blood work, I'm not even sure if they will do a viral load this trip, is there a set time frame to do a viral load test after being finished?Well I will report back as soon as I find out and thanks to all of you that gave me the will to finish.

you're at the finish line already!  my resting heart rate was 120 towards the end of tx.  then i found out that it was due to temporary thyroid issue caused by the Interferon.  also, i was anemic which caused the heart to pound even faster.

Go get your blood work done for CBC (look for the hemoglobin results)  and get a TSH to see your thyroid hormone levels.  I also had an echo and it came back normal.

best of luck to you!

I am 5 mnths post tx and I get your fear, my health, although better, is still slowly creeping back, here is my experience.
I week after tx I felt almost a let down, a real depressed and tired week the next week my mood started to lift. I was always a happy person and the tx changed that but not permanently, that was the light at the end of the tunnel. The heart racing is normal and it went from all day, every day, with heat that I felt in my belly, to a couple times a day, to once to every other and now it happens here and there. I still have to watch myself in the heat and go a little slow now and then but I am so much better. I don't think ill ever be like I was before the treatment but I am getting stronger. I think its time and let yourself feel crappy on crappy days
now My tongue is better and some of my skin, not all my face is still going through it and my hair is starting to come back and I don't hate anything anymore, I am still a little achey and this is the best it can be for now. Things will get better, if not see your regular doc and tell , but in 5 months i have gotten better
hope you feel well soon
