Have you stopped drinking? Alcohol is like pouring gasoline on the fire of your Hep C beat up liver. If you are treated and your Hep C eradicated, your liver will improve over time. 1.9 mill is not a big number. Do you know what stage your fibrosis is and do you have other symptoms of liver disease beyond the viral load such as an enlarged spleen, portal hypertension or edema, elevated Bilirubin, ALT and AST? What does your doctor say? Are you seeing a liver doctor?
The viral load has no bearing in terms of the progression of the disease/severity of liver damage. Also, HepC is a relatively slow moving disease, all things considered. Once you receive the results from your ultrasound, you'll have a clear picture of what's going on with your liver.
Find a good doctor in your area, preferably a hepatologist. If you haven't done so already, stop drinking. It's like pouring gasoline on a fire.
Best wishes
