minor liver pain with after successful tx and no damage?

i just have a question. i have been feeling really good and all since off tx, jogging daily 5 miles and overall just doin well, but prior to and after successful tx, i have had some very very minor off and on liver pain, well at least i think its my liver. i dont have xray eyes, but this is the area. i am startin to worry, becuase next week is my 6month test since tx. being a 3A, having had it cleared, and now feelin really good health and mind wise, i hope its not back. i am in my last semester at school, and today was called for an interview for a really good job. this would just really mess me up so much. i just dont know what would cause this other than it being back.

I also have these pains, had them late into TX and periodically post TX. I have not been able to figure what brings it on other than when I have a real stressful day at work then it comes. And also when I don't have a consistant bowel movement.

You are back. So good to see you again. Bet your doing much better now. What a long strange trip it has been!!!. Three weeks and count on my 6 month PCR result coming back. It figures the one I really want will take forever to return.

Love Peace and Happiness to both of you.

Like you said MrBill, "very minor off and on liver pain" -
not a big deal as far as I can tell.  I used to get fairly strong liver pain after a heavy drinking nite.  Then got it again with tx, and still occasionally post tx.  Glad to hear you are doing so well and best of luck to you with the job hunting and the 6 mo post tx PCR.  Congrats!  OHC/Auggie

I never thought much about my liver before my HCV dx; but after the dx, everything seemed related to it, and I felt things there all the time...
run this by your doc, and try not to worry about the 6-month test.  The time has to pass, and it will not change the result to worry about it.  So try to relax and reduce your stress; kudos for running.

Hi mrbill! I get my 6 mo. post tx in November and I've experienced the same thing but I don't think we can necessarily attribute it to the dragon returning. I suggest taking a "wait and worry approach" [not really].I expect all of us are extra worried about the rough ride not really being over, but my guess is were ok ok ok ok and I mean it!!

thank you guys . i feel alot better now and i am gonna try to not even think about it. i had no damage prior to those who asked. GOD forbid, hey if it does come back, wich i hope not, the only thing i can do is put my gloves back on and go another 15 rounds with the dragon. i am gonna look into the gallbladder thing too.

could it be the gallbladder? run it by your  MD.
I guess stressing out doesn't end with tx. when does it end? after a year post tx and negative, do we then worry constantly about re infection?
You know there will be no acceptable answers until you see your dr and get tested, so live as stress free as you can for now.

I get the same pain but I think it has more to do with tx than with HCV though I am not sure. My reason for thinking this is I never had this pain before tx. The first time I experienced it was about the 3rd month into tx. It didn't last too long then went away. I got it again just recently post tx and now it seems to be gone again. This time is was on the other side too but most predominant on the right side. It felt kind of like someone had kicked me in the rib area by the liver, it was even tender to touch. (Not sure if that is your pain). My internal med doc did a bunch of labs but they all came back clear. It is still a litle tender now and again. I imagine the 6 month post tx causes a lot of worry. I hope you can relax and try not to worry to much about this. Funny thing is that my runnung semed to worsen it. Funny you run too. Perhaps it's swelling from jarring and it's a little sensative there. Best wishes on your  6 month labs. LL
