unfortunately what you describe is a common side effect of interferon/ribaviron. try to be  understanding of your b/f. and try not to take it personally. i know it's a tall order, and all our family's that live with us are to be commended for putting up with us! good luck to both of you.

Hi, your bf will probably have some confused thoughts, and say things that he wouldnt normally say, sometimes you may have to sit down with him and ask him how he is feeling and maybe put some things into perspective for him, reassuring him that everything is ok, possibly explaining situations to him as we tend to see things in a different light.  I know it sounds strange, but your support will see him through this, try not to take anything personally.  Sometimes he may want to be alone, to have some peace and quiet.  The less stress in his life the better.
I wish you both well and the fact that you are in here asking questions is a great start.  Good luck.

Linda
