I also experienced a lot of nausea before I started treatment and everytime I would be sick as a dog, throwing up most of the day or night. Once I started treatment, it seemed to have gone away but unfortunately, for some strange reason, I was violently sick and throwing up yesterday. I'm hoping that this was just a fluke thing or maybe a 24 hour bug or virus. I'd hate to think that this is starting up again, I seriously hate being sick to my stomach. I just completed shot 15.

I had a couple of days before tx when I was sick as a dog... bad nausea and throwing up.
I got an rx for promethazine and it helped a lot, but I still felt pretty bad.
it went away after a couple of days and I have not thrown up since.
I had never felt so sick in my life, worse than the flu, but no fever.
I can remember me telling my pcp about 3 times a year, "it feels like I have the flu".

Im also getting ready to start treatment, scared outta my mind it will make me go crazy...lol...But I also have anausea and joint pain...The only thing Ive found to really help with the nausea is either peppermint tea or some tea with ginger in it....maybe a bit of ginger ale. Both peppermint and Ginger will calm your stomach
hey not a problem it helps to have people that understand what you are going thru, yes i have had severe upper right side pain, bloated stomach, severe joint and muscle pain, as a matter of fact my regular doc could not figure out what was wrong, sent me to a rhumetalogist and that is how i found out i had hep c. that was the last thing i would have suspected, but hey glad i had the pain or else i would of never sought help, getting ready to start treatment and am scared chitless, but from what others are saying it's not easy, but in long run will be worth it. good luck to you and we are here for you.
So gratfeul to you for answering me....hep c bloated , nausea and paon
hi, i have been experiencing alot of nausea and am not on tx yet, my doc had me get some tests done to see if my gallbladder was bad before starting treatments, everything came back normal, so i guess it is the hep c.
