Switching to Pegasy????

Ok...Has anyone started on Peg intron & riba and then switched over to Pegasy?  Is there any information out there?

Hubby has had 4 weeks of Peg & riba, but was going to be asked to switched over to Pegasy & riba;  however, now I am a bit concerned after reading about travelmom's daughter.  (BUT it does look like the virus is clearing, but just slower than expected.)

The Peg & riba knocks him out for the WHOLE weekend.  I was hoping that switching to Pegasy would help with the sides.

Hubby is 2b  Viral load 91,000    IV Cirrohsis    Stage 2

Also I just read the following:

"Pegasys may get a leg up thanks to its effectiveness in treating patients with liver cirrhosis and a shorter course of therapy for easier-to-treat patients."

Is Pegasy better for patients with cirrohsis?
How long would a 2b cirrohsis patient need to be on treatment?

Any Advice Would be Very Appreciated...

Thanks,
Shebee
