Pregnancy/Fertility post-treatment - SVR achieved

Hey All,

It's been a long time since I've poked my head in.  See a lot of new faces.  There's lots of good information and support here.  This forum got me through my 60-plus week second treatment round.

Anyway, I'm seeking information today.

I'm now over a year and a half post-treatment, SVR.  My husband and I are trying to have a baby.  It's been a year since we've ceased using contraceptives.  I don't know whether I should be worried.  I'm 34 years old.

I'm having a terrible time finding information on post-treatment SVR female patients who have become pregnant or are trying to become pregnant.  I am aware of all the contraindications during treatment and six months post-treatment.  But I haven't been able to find anything past that time frame.

Does anyone have any links or resources they can point me to?  It'd be greatly appreciated.

Here's to SVR for everyone.

Happiness and health,

Angela

I'm going through the same situation you went for years. It's been two years since I completed my treatment with ribavirin and am trying to get pregnant. I recently had a loss of 6 weeks of gestation, and began to wonder if the treatment may not have caused any damage to my eggs. You could get pregnant without any problems? Please tell me how was the end of his story, and if you hear of other cases of pregnancy ...

Hey, thanks!  I appreciate you reminding me of that.  It's hard not to get anxious when you've waited so long, you know?  Thank you again.

Hope all is well with you.
