post TX I'm turning kinda yellow?

Have any of you noticed your skin changing colors?
I thought my arms looked darker or something, but let it go. Last night I was standing in the bathroom w/my daughter, and side by side (by comparison) I looked yellow. I said something to my hubby, so this morning we were standing next to each other looking in the mirror, and there I am, just as yellow as can be. I said to my hubby, "is it just me, or do I look real yellow to you"? he says yeah, your pretty yellow to me. Gosh, what the h**l is going on here? It's kinda freaky yanno.
Anybody out there have this going on, is that just cuz the virus prolly came back? I dont have ins. now and I dont want to be all paranoid about every little thing, but ****, I have to keep going to the mirror to look at me,....my eyes (whites) aren't yellow. Any experience with this?

Symptoms of a blocked bile duct may be abrupt and severe (for example, when a gallstone blocks the whole drainage system all at once), or they may appear slowly many years after bile duct inflammation started. Bile duct diseases cause some symptoms when waste products build up in the body. Other symptoms result from the bile ducts' failure to deliver certain digestive juices (bile salts) to the intestines, preventing the absorption of some fats and vitamins. Symptoms of a blocked bile duct include:

Yellowing of the skin (jaundice) or eyes (icterus), from the buildup of a waste product called bilirubin
Itching (not limited to one area; may be worse at night or in warm weather)
Light brown urine
Fatigue
Weight loss
Fever or night sweats
Abdominal pain, especially common on the right side under the rib cage
Greasy or clay-colored stools
A diminished appetite

You really need to get this checked out as soon as possible. It could be the hep c but it could also be something more serious. My cousin had a blocked bile duct and was in ICU for over two months. Another person had a stone block part of his pancreas and he died. I'm sure the medical terminology I'm using isn't quite correct, but the stories are true. I'm not trying to scare you, I just think you need to find out what's going on.

I am having the worst pain in my abdomen, they feel like menstrual cramps. Of course, there not, I havent had one of those for five or more years. I am really swollen with water retention, you know how your able to feel it in your hands and fingers when you move them, I feel like that all over. This has been happening off and on for the last couple of months, but ususally goes away. It is very frustrating, cuz I dont want to just hollar wolf and then find out I need to cut back on salt or something. Know what I mean? If I have to go to a doc, it's gonna be cuz I really need one.
I read that article friole, and it says that jaundice is usually associated with high fevers. I have no fever at all. I guess thats a good sign then. thanks everybody for your quick responses!!!!
I have been so tired lately, I know lots of it is prolly just due to stress. The yellow face was just kinda the icing on the cake. Maybe tomorrow, it will have faded a little, maybe I just need to sit and read for awhile so I dont think so hard.

Im rambling,.........thanks again my peoples!!!!

This doesn't sound like something to mess around with if you ask me.  If you are having stomach pains and also still yellow,,,,you probably need to go to ER just to check it out.  Best thing that can happen is that it turns out to be nothing but would feel better if you got it checked out!  Please let us know!

Sometimes gallstones can cause a backup of bile in the liver which can result in jaundice. Do you have any pains in you abdomen, sides or back after eating a meal with a decent amount of fat in it?

Jaundice, also known as icterus (attributive adjective: "icteric"), is a yellowing of the skin, conjunctiva (clear covering over the sclera, or whites of the eyes) and mucous membranes caused by increased levels of bilirubin in the human body (or the body of another red blooded animal). Usually the concentration of bilirubin in the blood must exceed 2
