I get that now on tx. Did you have it during tx? If not perhaps you have a sinus infection, if you did have it during tx maybe it is something that will go away with time.

Thnaks for the input so far. Did you get the spam to the right of our text? Looks like there are some washes available(duh, I never had seen those). Gotta try some, it's the only thing that is bugging!!!! me post tx so far. It was not like this in tx, just a little drain from time to time. I drank about 8-9 bottles (20ox) a day and I cut way back after, maybe that could affect it. Got to get back to that water jones again I think. Make sure it's got mineral supplements to keep from washing you out....Peace

I've had luck with those plain saline nasal sprays. You can get them at any drug store. The problem is, they're like four bucks and change for a 1/4 ounce bottle of salt water. Mama didn't raise no dummy - I picked this up for 50 cents from an old lady down at the Lutheran rumage sale. A 79 cent box of salt and I've been good for several months. I've had an eye out for a second one so I don't have to carry it in and out of the office every day, but when I asked the pharmacist for a red refillable nasal sack, he just looked at me like I was dumb or something. Well I ain't so dumb I'm spending 4 bucks on his salt water, am I?

most excellent suggestion. I can see that carrying it to and from the office might be an issue for some (the color is a tad dfficult to work with). On the other hand, regular use is bound to make for lively discussion around the water cooler and used creatively it might serve to put an end to long meetings. So versatile!

Well color is of course a major concern. I'm thinking of seeking fame and fortune by marketing 'skins', like for cell phones, so you can coordnate with your outfits. Maybe the J. Garcia series... I'm sure he's done some appropriate art.

A bigger issue is the comments I get in the elevator. All the gals want to know what it is. Like they've never seen, let alone used, a red refillable nasal sack before. Mostly they say their grandmas had one, but they never learned how to use it.

Then there's this guy who keeps saying "I see you've found your twin'? I haven't figured that one out......

So....tell me those who have tried nasal wash. Does it work??? I guess I mean has anyone ever had it completely return to normal (I mean like you used to be pre tx). It's not like I'm goin ta die or something, but I don't want to be a picker and a grinner into my 60's ya know!!??@@ Someone mentimed sinus infection. It doesn't feel like an infection to me, but who am I to know? Don't think I need to see the doc anyway.

My ENT recommended OTC "Simply Saline". Squirt into each nostril letting it slightly enter throat, then "cough" up whatever. The blow nose gently. Alternatively, you could try a "Neti" pot available at most health food stores. Treatment can really dry the system out, not to mention leaving one suspectible to all kinds of infections, allergies, etc, and this can continue many months post treatment. You might also want to see an ENT as they might prescribe a nasal steroid like Nasonex if warranted. Also, with the the dry winter coming up, investing in a room humidifier makes sense. Just make sure to keep it meticulously clean, or the you could end up worse than when you started from airborne bacteria.

Hope you start feeling better soon.

I am also having the same problem as you.

I am 4 months post treatment and I now have post nasal drip. I wake up coughing with a tickle in my throat. I used the neti post during treatment. But after treatment I didn't use it. Thanks Jim I think I will go back to using the neti pot.

I have tried Sudafed, claritan, Afrin nasal spray, benedryl and nothing seems to help. If the neti pot doesn't work, I will go to my doctor and see if I can get a nasal spray to help.

If you find something that works, please let me know. It is so annoying.

I got some otc saline, really helps with keeping moisture, but for the post nasal, I don't know. Anybody?? I use Halls mentho-lyptus lozenges in tropical fruit (sugar free). Helps with the taste, good breath mint, addictive, too. The mentho seems to help a bit with the nasal stuff, but it doesn't stop the drip
