I'm in week 32 of triple with Victrellis 2400mg, 1200 mg of ribavirin, both daily, 150 mcg of pegintron weekly,  supported by procrit and neupregen.  I have been undetectable since week 8/ 4 weeks with all three drugs.  I have been going to work 95% of the time. In the last 2 weeks I have been feeling as bad as I have at any time during the Tx.  I missed 3 days last week and 4 days this week, extreme fatigue, dizziness, mental spaceyness, muscle and joint pain, stomach problems. I am considering taking a leave of absence to complete my 36 week regime.  My question is has any one else experienced an increase of adverse sx  as tx progressed.

Thanks, my employer couldn't be more helpful and understanding. I guess that it isn't going to get any easier for the next 4 weeks so I'm going to take time off...I was hoping that I could make it through without having to.

I had to take medical leave and did so under FMLA (your job is held for you but it is only 12 weeks long) and I rec'd an extension on this by applying under Americans w/Disabilities Act (fed law). This law is vague/open about 'reasonable accomodations' and there is some paperwork to fill out. My hep doc said he refusd to sign me off for work return until I was done treating b/c my hgb has been at 8.8 approx since before Xmas and white blood cells at 2.5-should be minimum of 4. He prefersme to sit it out instead of rescue drugs although we did discuss epogen andblood transfusion. I'd go w/ADA since employers don't want to mess w/being noncompliant to fed law and a possible fed lawsuit.

Yes, I think it can start to snow ball as your body gets more and more tired. By week 72, I was a mess. It doesn't happen that way with everyone.

Could you have a flu or old or something exacerbating the sides?
