I would like it that way Diane I wonder if my insurance would pay for it but I am gonna ask my new MD on Friday if he can prescribe my VL monthly .MyCBC  needs to be done more often I drop Hg very quickly and my Wbc and neutrophils are still low.

Great news.  During my treatment, I saw the doctor each month, and had a viral load, CBC, and liver panel bef ore each visit.  Metabolic panel was drawn every 8 weeks.  When my blood count went down, I had CBC drawn every 2 weeks until the Procrit helped raise is.

From my  own experience I have to say that despite some remaining symptoms like mild to mod itching ,sleep problem and low Wbc aHg this is like day and night .Incivek is powerfull med but has really  NASTY side effects.I wish for everyone who starting or is going thru this triple Tx Hang on tight It will get much better physically and mentally. The problem with me is that I am constant worrier and from my previous experience I am.afraid that virus will come back soon again.
Does anybody know if there is any time protocol for cheking viral load or is that individualy decided by MDs.?I would like to have my viral load checked every 3 month or so like I noticed some of you have it done quite often.

Congratulations! Isn't it a great feeling to get that UND result? I'm starting my 35th week and have had many HCV PCR tests (every 2 weeks up to 12 weeks, every 4 weeks since then), but every time I anxiously await the results and am thrilled to see the phrase "UND"! How long is your tx going to be?

CONGRATULATION!!!!
You did it. Now you are going to recover from the Tx. The side effects can be more aggressive, but they will be for a short time.
Congrats again.
