spleen

I found out I have a cyst in my spleen about 7 months ago. I had tests done and my docter said it was not cancerous and that I should not worry. It seem like now and then I have pain on my upper back. Like a burning pain and when that happens anything around it will worsen it. It does not hurt but it's like a burning feeling. Could this be due to my cyst? should i have a second opinion?

Going on 2 weeks after my surgery, (ovarian laproscopy/removal of a cyst which resulted in removal of my left ovary) I'm still having discomfort in my upper left abdomen area, I'm afraid it could be my spleen? Or perhaps anything else that's serious. I just finished my antibiotics as prescribed to me. I've had no fever, no chills, or any other symptoms that would seem otherwise not normal... However I still just have this burning pain under my ribcage.(left side) that will not go away. I may see my doctor about this next week. Has anyone else experienced this symptom at all?

Many people contribute pain in the anterior stomach area as well as posterior. There are many etiologies that may cause these symptoms. Just a suggestion, try having an MRI performed of your spine. Many of the root nerves that service these areas of your body comes from the spine. You would be surprised how many people are diagnosed with cervical, lumbar or thoracic herniations, stenosis, or spondylolisthesis where the spine actually slips forward and neuromas. These known etiologies will cause all kinds of pain that mimic other diseases symptoms including heart, gastro, and related musculoskeletal. Even neuromas develop on or near root nerves and encroach causing severe pain in areas that the nerve services. Best Wishes and Good luck finding your diagnosis.
