It may be edema, comes with cirrhosis, talk to his doctor and possibly get
some Lasix?
Good luck to you and your father

We are simply patients here, not doctors.  We can only speak from our own experiences and/or knowledge which we've gained as we travel through this aspect of our lives. So we can not, nor should we try to, diagnose another's illness based upon symptoms.

As there are several reasons that there could be swelling in the areas indicated, I would strongly recommend going to a doctor to obtain an opinion from trained professional.  They may also need more information as well as possibly running some tests in order to get a better picture as to what is going on with your father.

I am sorry to hear that your father is not doing well right now, especially during this season where most are celebrating and fellowshipping with one another.

I wish you well and hope that your can get more information, and possibly medications, that will help your father.
