My nurse called and said on the quantitative tma test I was <5 and<0.70 and that I was Svr. My last shot was Aug 26th and last riba pill was sept 2. I took my test on feb 9. I think it is 24 weeks from my last shot but only 23 weeks from my last pill. Is that still Svr ? What is <0.70 ? I was geno 3 high viral load treated 24 weeks 800 mg riba. Thanks for feed back in advance.  God bless

No, I don’t think I’d quibble over a few days; if you were to relapse, it would have occurred by now. Some doctors will check viral load again at 12 months to rule out late relapse, but it’s pretty much just a token effort. Hepatitis C should be in your rear-view mirror now; go out and enjoy life! Remember that past infection does not confer immunity; that risky behavior can lead to reinfection, though.

Be well—

Thank you so much for the kind thoughts and answering my questions. It was 3 weeks  short of 6 calendar months but 24 weeks after my last shot. Should I take it again after 3 or 4 more weeks? I am so happy!!!!!!

The “<0.70” is the log10 equivalent of <5 IU/mL. Either way you view this, you are undetectable for virus to the lower limit of detection of the test. This is considered to be a very sensitive test; this is truly good news. Based on your results, you should be considered SVR!
