face hurts??
Hi all,
Did anyone have irritation on their face, skin hurts,, possible dryness, chapped,, but very weird?
Especially on the cheek bones?

I developed folliculitis (infection of the hair follicles in the skin) very early in tx. Tried all kinds of creams etc. At one point I used a salicylic acid acne treatment on my face and it got Hard - I mean you could tap my cheeks and the skin was hard! I quit the acne wash and switched to a mild soap (dove) and a very light WATER BASED face moisturizer (neutrogena), I still have some folliculitis, but no more crust instead of skin! Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize - drink lots of water etc, etc - AND some folks like me (very fair skinned) have to avoid oil-based products. Good luck and hang in there!
