Check to see what your ANC is.  Mine got to .6 around week 5.  I am in a trial, so they do dose reductions rather than use neupogen.

I used a shiitake mushroom supplement to try to raise my levels....they did come back up and I was able to resume full peg doses.  Now whether they came up due to the supplement or the dose reductions....I couldn't really say...I was just willing to try anything to get them back up.  Unlike the hgb, they come up rather quickly.

Wash your hands alot and keep them away from your face =)

900 isn't bad, mine went 700 in my 4th week and i'm in my 45th already!

options if it gets low (700-300) or below:
- consider using Neupogen injections weekly and get blood work monitored weekly  (i've been doing that for 41weeks, really no big deal)
- consider dose reduction (which you don't want esp since you've just started)

Your doctor should keep a close eye on your whites.  It's not just low wbc that is a concern.  It's the wbc and neutrophils combined which give you your ANC total. (Absolute Neutrophil Count).  ANC bounces around but if your blood tests are consistently showing a downward trend in your ANC, your doctor may recommend Neupogen which is a rescue drug given once ANC drops and stays below 500.  Different doctors have varying thresholds as to when they think Neupogen is necessary. Very common for whites to tank on treatment.
