wondering about lilmomma and post treatment

I couldn't find lilmomma's post that said she was done or quit. Anyone know if she's doing fine? Pain has so many different disgiuses. Hope all is well with you girl! Just getting to my 3mo. PCR and have had so many troubles with those stupid AD's, But I had problems before, so I knew I would during treatment. I didn't count on having worse problems when the evil drugs gave my brain back but still has a grip on it. JEEZ, this is something I dont know how to get a grip on. Here's hoping I'm still SVR next week!!! Here's an attempt at lightening my stupid post. My baby girl moved away last wk(18yrs.). She phoned toight and chatted and chatted but as soon as I told her I missed her, she was so happy!! KIDS!! Felt good for mom!!!

Sorry, I was already off to La-La land when you posted last night. I am geno3, first tx, only made 22 wks because of bleeding bowel (too many anti-biotics) and hemo was crashing. My vl at beginning of tx was about 650,000 (I never got a copy of that one). But I was grade 2, Stage3 in 2000 so I had to start, even my ultrasound said "coarse liver". Going for my 3mo. PCR mon (24?). Sure would like this to be over. Even with und, still wont be over till I get these other things cleared up. Oh, well as they say, It's the nature of the Beast. Be well Mr. Beagle, just think, next time will be SO much esier on your body and success will be yours. I may even be trippin along with you?!.........Diane

I read your post this morning,..hey girl, how are ya?!!
I believe it was around the the 6th when I was able to first post,(that was when I got moved in and got my hi-speed hooked up)
Yes I moved back to the northwest,...........LOVE IT HERE!!
I loved quitting that awful job, that had dictated my every waking moment.
I figured it was a very appropriate time to change my name as well.
Yes, I did have to quit the tx. I made it 26/48 there were a number of reasons for this decision. I took the chance of a lifetime when I saw a very small window of opportunity to get out of the south, and get back to where I belong, and the part of the country I love most. 3000 miles, caravan style, my hubby pulled the trailer, my 18 yr old daughter drove her car in the middle, and I followed with my S10 loaded to the gills in the rear. We were quite the little band of gypsies! It took 6 days, but we landed, and now we are buying a condo, and very busy looking for jobs.
I am doing okay though, tx symptoms linger on still, my hubby still suffers with many post tx symptoms,.....but we will be fine. Love all you guys, and as soon as I got hooked up, guess who I typed my first note to? YOU GUYS!!!

I know that bubble girl feeling. Our world gets so much smaller on tx. With my WBC going so low all the time, I have wondered about getting one of those bubbles! I haven't caught anything except the flu, and John was sicker than I was. I just thought i had sx.

Actually Goof can be quite serious and I only dropped my sandwich a few times! ;)

Good to hear, hope your own self is doing well. We are following the same little road and I get to find out next week how I'm going to do. Anxiety a little better tonight with the "stop-it"drugs. My doc actually said to me today that being calm will be a factor in SVR. No reason why but through experience, makes sense. One time left a bad relationship with vl over 2 mil an came down to 350,000 within 6mo.  Lots of things could have influenced that, I know. Still a strange cicumstance when we look for things to help. Peace is such a good thing, eh? (ooooo, sounded canadian)

Is this you second tx or first?  I'm a 2B andtxed for 24 weeks, as UND till 3 months post tx.  I'm still a bit depressed and working on coming out of it.  Mu pre viral load was 318,000 and now with 3 months post tx I'm at 4 million.  However , my doc said it will come down after 6 months post tx,

Sorry to hear you are feeling bad. I sure know how that feels. Your Hgb didn't go down until later is tx? The procrit should make you feel like a new woman afterwhile. I think anemia is one of the worst sx we can get.

You're getting up there girl! Soon (not soon enough, I'm sure) you will be done with these evil drugs! I know what you mean about adding more meds to the mix. I used to wonder why everyone here talked about how many pills they were taking each day when I only saw one, Ribavarin. Now my drawer is filling with scripts to help me get through this and I can say I am glad for them all. Don't think I could make it without them. I consider them part of tx. AD's can be a lifesaver and I would consider them. QOL is important and making tx bearable can make a big difference.

Hope you feel better soon!

You're soo sweet to ask about me. i can always count on you to do that and i thank you. i try to read here most days but usually don't have the energy for posting. UGH. i'm doing okay all things considered. started procrit and waiting for the rise in hmg. did 2nd shot yesterday and i know it'll take a little time. depression gets me a few days a week but have never taken an AD and kinda feel like i'm on enough **** ya know? shot 31/48 and I CAN'T WAIT for this to end. my hubby keeps me going or i might've thrown in the towel by now. can't do it tho' all this misery for possibly nothing is NOT an option. if it doesn't work it won't be MY fault! Lol. not really lol. I TOTALLY get your waiting for better meds now...anyway, i sure hope you're doing great! you're such a postive influence on this board and a great friend to me. thanks for all your well-wishes and advice and i'll try to stay in touch. tell all the cousins  we said hi! ;)   tracy

My doc just took me off prozac and is easing me onto Cypralex (in the states lexapro). have to take another day off work, cause you cant be a lost soul when you are dealing with high school challenged kids. Even worse is being plain stupid when dealing with your staff. ( I'm lucky, mine were with me during my foggiest virus moments). Still damn sick of it! Eventually, they just believe you really are stupid, except for when you deal with the behavior kids. Sometimes I wonder where intelligence REALLY lies. Thanks for the convo FG, I've taken 15 mg. valium to stop the serotonin overdose and I'm still speedy and sweating. Sleep soon. Take care, peace to you!!!

Hi Morgiana, I think lilmommas new name is Northstar? her thread is down from here...hope I'm right...perceptive of you about that counseling thing, hope I wasn't too preachy...I was one, after a fashion...I volunteered for this Teen Rehab house over the summers years ago now....we had to go to tons of seminars, etc but I didn't go to college for it or anything, I was a low-rent one, ha ha!...it was really great work on the one hand, but it was hard to see so many kids relapse, you have to have a tough hide for that kind of work...course I had my own stupid idiot moments when I was a kid as well...

I'm now trying out different anti-d's myself to hook up with one...I tried Celexa about a year ago for a short while, and I didn't think it was 'that' bad but I only took it about 3 weeks or so....I'm hoping it's a match cause Lexapro and Prosac made me more nutzo then I already am...hope you get it all sorted out...the mental stuff scared me more then anything else, but we trudge on don't we? Hope youre feeling better soon...
