nygirl7, I read your comment again, I understand what you mean, I am feeling well now, thank you.
I read the nurse story from Chinese hep c forum. There are over thousands hep c patients there, there are most people said they were infected hep c from hospitals surgery and blood transfusion, if you typing HEP C by Chinese words and google it, you will find lots news about people infected hep c after their surgery in China. I have lived in Canada over 10 years, I had not known this 2 month ago.
If there isn't some very good reason you think he might have it I certainly wouldn't worry this much about it.
The nurse In China has nothing to do with your son and it seems as if her tests were negative even though they could have done more precise testing and done it again after two weeks to be sure. But she had a reason she worried and I can't see any reason if your sons liver enzymes are ok and he tested negative why you would worry.
Complusion is a hard thing perhaps you should do something about that rather than worry endlessly about something that really might not be.
Thank you Trinity4, I'll ask him to do the test this Friday, if he reject it, I won't ask him again. I may forget it and relax. this is a nice forum with nice people there. I appreciate your help.

Yes, many people work. You are putting the cart before the horse lilly. Looks like your son is correct about the complusion thing. You are stressing and obsessing about something you DON'T know for certain. It's not healthy for you or your son.

I with him visited his doctor last Friday, I told the doctor I was worried about. the doctor gave my son HCV-RNA test paper, my son didn't do the test. I'll try to persuade him to do the test, We have nothing to do before a definitive diagnosis of Hep C, I'm not rich.I would like to know hepatitis c patients still have worked during using interferon.
If your son doesn't want to talk to you about it, there isn't much chance of him doing the treatments you are reading about. Also, unless you are quite wealthy and just like to spend lots of money on possibly unnecessary drugs that have unpleasant side effects... insurance companies aren't going to pay for these drugs without a definitive diagnosis of Hep c... they would cost me over $3,000.00 per month if I didn't have insurance.
Thank you give me advice, my son has hepatitis b vaccine. His ultrasonic is good, he rejects to do any blood test because his doctor said him he is no hepatitis last Friday. He doesn’t like to talk with me. My son said I have compulsion , maybe he is right. I would like to hear the any advices, it is good for me.
Lily is there anyway you can explain why you think your son is hepc positive with a negative antibody test and normal liver enzymes? Why are you certain he is sick with hepc and not hepb or some other infectious disease?
You also think he is in the acute stage but he does not have elevated liver enzymes, jaundice, pale stools; the symptoms associated with acute hepc.
I'm sorry if I seem too forward but rather then ruminate every day about whether your son is hepc positive or not, just have him do a HCV RNA by PCR. That will put all this to rest for you.
