You are a staple around here. So I hope you keep coming to post, which I have no doubt you will!!!
You will start feeling soooooooo much better. Here's to a speedy recovery.

Congratulations on making it to the end! I know what a great feeling it is...though not 72 weeks! You have my admiration big time! You are one tough cookie. good luck!
I can't see all the other comments posted on the forum, but I'm sure I join EVERYONE is congratulating you on completing the 72 weeks ordeal! We know how difficult it can be, and what a sense of accomplishment you must have.
On a personal note, it's planned for me to do a full 72 weeks as well, so your success is a great role model for me!
Mark
Hey there Debbie. I'm so happy for you that you completed the 72 weeks. I was out of the area for a few days, but I wanted to let you know that I'm hoping for you to keep a long lasting SVR.
Your hep 1A/1B coert (spelling?) in this whole treatment thing.
Susan
Just to re-post what I said in another post NYGIRL, you are awesome...it is truly amazing and a gift to us all to be here as you finish this LONG LONG LONG hard journey with such grace, strength, and an amazing courage. The commitment and support you have supplied to have helped us all through our own journeys (even as short as mine)is something that deserves an award. Nygirl you are one tough lady and it is wonderful to see all this end for you. You are loved and cherished. Mequila.
Congrats! So nice of you to be so concerned about others IF you don't svr,,BUT!!!!WE ARE ALL PRAYING FOR YA TO SVR FOR LIFE, SO YOU WILL IN JESUS NAME AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your will, determination and perserverence is nothing less than remarkable. Many strong people on board who did such long tx, all us folk that have the 'baby version of tx' with the 24 weeks, tip our hats off to you and others. I'm not worthy to even say I treated compared to what some, such as you, have have endured.
Thanks for always being there to jump in an answer a question, encourage and give hope.
WE ALL LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!
You're a hell of a fighter nygirl. I know you must have gone through absolute hell with 72 weeks of this garbage, I'm only in week 24 and I'm ready to tap out. To think you've gone THREE times that long on these drugs??? It makes me shudder to think of what that must be like. Like I said, you're tough as nails - you're an example for all of us to take note of. And you've played your cards as well as you could have. You're well informed and knew your odds were probably not good with 48, and proactively chose to extend to 72. Not an easy decision to make, but a smart one. I think you're hard work, investigative research and outright suffering will deliver you the goods this time. You've certainly earned it.
Well done, and godspeed on your SVR!
You GO GIRL!!!!!!
Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations on making it to the end! WOW!!! if any one deserve's svr it is you! don't you love the way DONE sounds. Take care. Pam
so glad to her you're done! i don't know how you did it for that long! congrats and i hope things go well for you!
Congratulations! As you can see we had quite a party in your behalf! LOL
Yes,,,you give much hope to people that have both strains and Vicki (Tater) cleared and now you will and then we have Susan400 and I'm thinking,,,,there maybe someone else with double strain but hey,,,,you all are proving it can be done! Best Wishes to a life without Hep!!! Isnt'that a wonderful feeling!!!
Best to you on finishing an extra long tx. I can"t imagine anything past 48.
Now I want your HGB to go up and you start to feel better.
so glad youre done, but prob not as glad as you are! Female Warrior that you are, you've helped many people here, good on you!
NYG, I am doing the sweet Holy Ghost dance for you right now!!!! ( Yes, I am a good ol' pentecostal boy, here!!!) I just wanted you to tell you THANK YOU. Thank you for showing courage, perserverance, testimony, and strength. What I stand amazed over most, however, was your thoughts on your possible outcome of this. Your inner spirit is amazing! Now I'M STANDING with you in faith that this miracle is now about to manifest itself to you by His grace. Jeremiah 32:27 says, "Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: IS THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR ME?" The fruits of your labor are about to bring forth.....May He cover you. God bless you always in all ways!!!!!
In Christ,
Rick
Congratulations on finishing! You are one tough cookie or should I say one tough Fudgsicle! There are no strains, substrains, or combinations of strains that could hang on as long as you did. Good luck and may you be blessed with a rapid and uneventful recovery.
Well I am clapping for you big time. You have done it and no doubt are on your way to a life free of HCV. You were an inspiration to many.
Pat
Somewhere, I left you a 'glad you're done post'. I was wondering if you were able to track down Merlino offline. I'm traveling for a few days and will be away from the forums. If you communicate with her, please ask her to post an update. Last time we heard from her, her hgb was taking a dive. When you start shaking the off the meds your kids are going to expect home-cooked meals again. Maybe you can buy yourself some time and make them think you're still on tx. To maintain the ruse you'll have to stay close to the couch and keep up your fudgicle intake.
You have given me hope, courage, commitment and strength just by being here and showing us it can be done. When I asked "please don't judge me cause I drink", you gave me encouragement and offered stories about yourself. I quit drinking and found out everything is doable! I think that word has been used by others but I will always attribute it to you. It's the most honest answer there is re: tx. Not bad not good--doable!
Thanks again
Janice
I can't believe you made it! Well, yes I can. You are always pretty up and working , thats the part I never got...how you did that and only miss 3 days of work?? You are a hero, I only hope I can follow in your footsteps and make it 72 weeks, that is if I can find a dr. that will let me do 72 weeks! Congrats, I am so jealous but so happy for you!
