Hello Everyone! Just saying Hi! I never thought I would get this far! I had chest X-rays yesterday, I have had the riba cough for 2 months just another little annoyance of this treatment. I finally started coughing so bad last week nothing would stop it. mucinex or other over the counter things. X-ray were clear dr gave me some syrup with codiene, I took it last night did"t work. I waited about 20 minuted took more, another 20 minutes took more. finally slept and have not coughed too much today. Now it is getting late feel the cough coming again. 16 more weeks. I am still working, but my energy level is way down, skin is drivin me crazy with the itch, I reach over to pet my dogs and am outa breath. I LOVE IT hahaha!  Hope everyone makes it through just wanted to check in! Take care and god bless you all! Hope no one is offended using the GOD word!!!

Yes Mucinex is nasty tasting but the phlegm is worse....    I  have to laugh my co-workers are teasing me about having a medicine chest in my purse but I have to be able to treat anything that might come up at work asap...  so mucinex, benedryl, dayquil, bandaids, neosporin and halls it is.... as needed, Oh and the AD's and Vicodin or tylenol.  I guess it is a medicine chest lol.  Good luck on the last 16 weeks of TX

Well My fellow racers! I hope we all svr in the end! Paintlady is it just me or is mucinex the nastest tasting pill u ever had to swallow. I almost gag when I have to take one, hahaha! my cough has slowed this week. keep up on the mucinex, and a shot of my codiene cough syrup when needed. and my halls.I feel like I have tunnel vision in a daze most of the time now. we are all almost 3/4s of the way through. If u are also on 48 weeks. we are doing good! lets hope we can all hang in there!!

Just thought I'd share that week 32 was when things took a real dive with my hubby. He also got the flu, couldn't eat, nausea, blood count became low (but not low enough for procrit) and we began to wonder if he could finish treatment. Well, things got steadily better. He just took shot #41, and I'm beginning to see glimpses of his "old" self. His appetite is back, energy is getting better,  attitude is MUCH better, and he's gained back 13 of the pounds he lost while treating!
Just wanted you to know this dip might not last for long!

3 way race. :)  I just did shot 33 last night 15 to go.  Between the flu, anemia and shots in general Life ****'S right now.  I am feeling like a pincushion. Just Put a hose in my mouth this summer and I can be the sprinkler,

scary what I was reading on the other side about. Procrit. I have been on it and neupogen since september I wouldn't have gotten this far TX'ing without it.

I also have the cough/phlegm problem on a daily basis, I should have bought stock in Hall's and Mucinex.  lol

Thr worst for me right now is my mind I seem to have totally lost it. I am so forgetful lately.

I'm glad to hear your making it through. Sorry to hear about your cough, though. Hope it goes away soon.
