To Zazza and Pro and anyone else nearing or just finished tx...congrats and may this Easter truly be the beginning of a new SVR phase of your life.
Happy Easter, Tahoe and all!
Trish
(NYGirl .. shared your sentiments completely on the Great Friday :)
Adding my SVR prayers for you! Your Hgb going up so soon gives me hope that I won't have to continue the procrit for very long after I stop.
A very tiny yipee for you still being UND. Praying for SVR for you. Interesting that you started an AD now?
Za,
I'm certainly enjoying life a bit more not taking the meds (still 5 pts below starting hgb), but I am in definite need of Spring (currently 19 degrees and blowing snow)...Ironically, now that tx has ended, I decided to try an ad-wellbutrin, we'll see how it goes. I sense it's going to be a long road back...Did get results back from my 1 week post tx pcr today(2 weeks post peg), still undy but don't think much can be drawn from that, it's early in the post game ..pro
Happy Easter Everyone!!!!
PS: I have a peony here, they are pretty-but the flowers don't last very long
Tahoe, I am tx'ing my last week this week. But I will take it as a very good omen that you congratulated me on my SVR! If I do SVR, I will remember you as being the first one to congratulate me. Right now I am just feeling so pleased to soon be done with tx'ing. I don't think I have ever looked forward to Easter as I have this year.
FlGuy, the plant is called peony (pion in Swedish). I looked it up in Wikipedia. It seems you do not have them in Florida? Beautiful, isn't it?
"The peony or paeony (Paeonia) is the only genus in the flowering plant family Paeoniaceae. They are native to Asia, southern Europe and western North America. Most are herbaceous perennial plants 0.5–1.5 metres tall, but some are woody shrubs up to 1.5–3 metres tall. They have compound, deeply lobed leaves, and large, often fragrant flowers, ranging from red to white or yellow, in late spring and early summer."
Pro, it sounds SOOO lovely to be able to take a shower without fighting fatigue. You give me hope with your hgb bouncing back so quickly. Sounds like you are enjoying life?!!
Happy Easter to everybody!
Happy Easter! What a great time of year it is when Spring comes!
Thank you and you as well! A time of new birth! Hoping we are all reborn with good health, peace and compassion.

congratulations on SVR. I must have missed that one. I still am checking in on everyone or trying to a few days a week. I have started back to work a day or two a week, just can't cover a whole shift, but everyone deals with that part very well ( I am part-time manager at a neighborhood bar). I still am very thankful for all of the people on this site, Everyone has helped and is still helping me whether you know it or not..
NYgirl-- I know you are happy for the extra day off, Make sure you enjoy it.
Hugs to all
Lynn
I've been wondering. What kind of plant is that in your background, I can't quite make it out. Sometimes I thinks it a rose, or oleander or tibouchina. Do you know?
As I recall, you snapped the lid closed on your sharps container yesterday!!!! Congrats to you!! One week post my last riba, hgb is already up to 12.4 ----I am nolonger out of breath taking a shower!!! woohooo(g)
Thanks, guys! Yes, I will be done Wednesday next week! Sure feels great!
Happy Easter to you too!
Hope all is well with you!
Zazza! Wow! Week 72. SVR, SVR! Keep us posted!
I read that you are in, or approaching, week 72. The last day of it is cause for significant celebration. Soon, it will be a mere memory for you. The end is near!
Happy Easter to you too!
I'm so happy because the company is closed tomorrow for Good Friday - that sure makes it Great Friday to me!
I hope you're doing just fine, it's always great to hear from you!
Good to hear from you. Hope you are doing alright! Best wishes, Zazza
