How did you you got HCV 20 or 10 years ago.
Hello friends, my question to all is how do you find out how long you have been infected with HCV.
My doctor can't tell me, she just said that the liver has minimal damage and that maybe from a tattoo
some 21 years ago. I guess at this point it does not matter cuz I got it and need to treat it.

Hmmmm, yeah even I like McCain more than Mitt. He does seem to meet with the Dems and vote their way at times. That 100 year war scares me, so I am glad you are staying home. LOL Huckabee won't make it, you are right. With all the Dems coming to vote for Hillary and Obama, I am hoping one of them makes Prez. AS far as crashing and burning with them in office, I have doubts. At least they will get us out of this awful war.

I happen to love Deb and think she is one of the nicest greatest funniest people we've had come in here in a long time. If you notice she is ALWAYS giving people encouragement and support in her posts and she doesn't ever seem to turn things around so they are about her - it's some other people with their "funny sense of humor" being sarcastic.

4c, Actually i am not an evangelical christian. i am a sacramental roman catholic and staunch conservative on moral issues. SFBG, I can never vote for McCain. He is not a conservative. As no one in the race (other than Huckabee, who won't win the nomination) is not a moral conservative, I will just skip the election. I answer to a higher authority and my conscience dictates i stay home. Besides, if the country is going to crash and burn... I would just rather let Hillary or Obama get the credit!

I have just been lurking for awhile - started out on the addiction social forum last summer. I got back into opiates rather heavily at the end of therapy for HCV. I was in the clinical trial at Mayo in '95 that helped establish the current peg therapy. I did 5 million units alpha interferon every other day and an unknown (clinical trial) amount of ribavarin for one year. I have been PCR less than detectable since tx.
