Dear Elaine, you may feel lost at the moment but you will find your way.  Thank you for that lovely remembrance of Nick, just a delightful and special insight into the kind of young man you raised him to be and which he became.

I can only tell you this...that your son was very brave, and his story and his fight touched us all. We are richer for having known about him.  He leaves that behind and thoughts of what we learned from him, and you, will live on in each of us.  In that way, he still lives.

   I lost someone 2 years ago. I feel her with me often in my life. When Isabella was born, her favorite song came on the hospital music, it's an odd song, not played much.
  I feel our loved ones stay beside us in life, your Nick will still beside you in this life.
