new at treatment

i just took my first shot last thurs and am on some new prodacall that i take shots every 2 weeks and 6 riba a day. is anyone else been on this treatment? the first one almost turned me from doing anymore. it made me hurt so bad and it felt like it was something like off the nutty professor or something. i have alot of questions for anyone who knows about it. i have been experincing head-aches stomach problems and somemore

What is it? Interferon - Albuferon? (this must be the post)

I've heard good news abotu Albuferon --- but has the same side effects as Interferon...

Give us more info SMU --- so we can answer what we can.

Any Interferon / Ribaviran treatment has AWFUL side effects for some people... You will get through it - unless the sides are unlivable.

Consider yourself going through CHEMOTHERAPY --- don't think this is a walk in the park.

Good news is --- after treatment... around 6 months post -- you feel 10000000000% better!

Sounds like you are in the Albuferon trial.  There are at least a couple of people who are on it too.  I think 'tjaloha' is one of them.  (That's if it's hepatitis C).
