RIBA INCIVEK

Good Morning. I have some left over Riba and Incivek, I took all my meds it was a glitch between one specialty pharmacy and another.
I called the pharmacy and they told me to call the doctor.  I called the doctor and they told me to contact the pharmacy.  I tried to explain the pharmacy did not want it either. I asked if there was a place where I could donate the unopened packs.  They did not know and also told me I can not throw it away as it is a biohazard.  Has anyone heard of a place that will take donations?  Not sure what to do.  I appreciate any assistance.

I gave mine to a local clinic that helps low income people and drug addicts.
They were very happy to get the meds, and even disposed of my sharps for me.
I'd try calling social services and ask.

Yes, this is what my Clinic does also, and my Doctor let me know this. It really helped alleviate my worry, because these kind of medicine lags can happen, and with this TX, missing a dose can be the difference between success, and nonsuccess!
Everyone should make the effort, like orphanedhawk did, to locate clinics that serve low-income people, who are being treated for Hep C, it's a win-win situation : D

Our doctor very happily accepted our leftover meds.  When they have patients who for whatever reason don't get their meds in time, etc., they have them there.  Once, when the specialty pharmacy messed up our order and almost didn't send in time, I called the doctor who advised us to come over and pick some up from him so my husband didn't miss a dose.  I'm sure all offices are different, but ours was grateful to have our leftover INC and Riba.
