Nice way to start the day....
Old Sam Johnson goes to his Dr. complaining of aches and pains all over his body. After a thorough examination, the Dr gives him a clean bill of health.
" Sam, you're in excellent shape for an 85 year old man, but I'm not a magician--I can't make you any younger", says the Dr.
" Who asked you to make me younger, already?" says Sam. " You just make sure I get older!"

The Four Ghosts of the White House
One night, George W. Bush is tossing restlessly in his White House bed. He awakens to see George Washington standing by him Bush asks him, "George, what's the best thing I can do to help the country?"
"Set an honest and honorable example, just as I did," Washington advises, and then fades away...
The next night, Bush is astir again, and sees the ghost of Thomas Jefferson moving through the darkened bedroom. Bush calls out, "Tom, please! What is the best thing I can do to help the country?"
"Respect the Constitution, as I did," Jefferson advises, and dims from sight...
The third night sleep still does not come for Bush. He awakens to see the ghost of FDR hovering over his bed. Bush whispers, "Franklin, What is the best thing I can do to help the country?"
"Help the less fortunate, just as I did," FDR replies and fades into the mist...
Bush isn't sleeping well the fourth night when he sees another figure moving in the shadows. It is the ghost of Abraham Lincoln. Bush pleads, "Abe, what is the best thing I can do right now to help the country?"
Lincoln replies, "Go see a play."

How have you been Rick? How is tx treating you? Last time Isaw a post from you - it looked like your sides were few, your enzymes were normalising, and your viral load was down - YAY! I hope the trend just keeps right on going all the way to UND by week 12...and then SVR!
I am hanging in there - I am waiting for my 24 week pcr, my last one was UND so I am pretty sure this one will be too! I've not managed to put on any weight but I am eating some food and I have not lost anymore weight (thank goodness! ) I go back and forth about being "used to" my situation - I am still doing "chair exercises" and still cannot really walk or stand for very long. BUT -( YIPPIE) - I found out the other day that I CAN swim - only a few laps - but I can do it!!! So I am now looking for an indoor pool to join. YEAH! I miss exercising more than anything else! Oddly - through this whole thing I have not suffered from "depression". There have been some "down" days (well of course there would be!) but nothing too awful. I am finally on the other side of the halfway mark and that helps me to "stick to it" - only 22 more shote to go!

Al Gore telling us common folk how to conserve energy while he lives in a 22 room house (one of his houses). Oh yeah thats right,,he is putting in solar pannels today. hehe. They are all nuts. Republicans and Democrats.
I'm voting for Sambone Martian Ambassador to Earth next election. He understands what we need and it would be nice to have a President fighting for hep c awareness. ha!
