Holy crap. I am starting treatment soon and I already have a lot of leg and ankle and foot cramping. My ankle and feet have also just recently started to swell. Nobody seems to be to concerned. I dont have the greatest primary. It is a clinic (you know, herd em in and herd em out) she said all I needed to to do was walk more. give me a break. she did not even bother to look up my hep c history or anything. I am nervous about treatment, although I am also grateful. It seem you guys are worse off than me. I will be on 300 mg of Ribavirin and 400 of Sovaldi. They say 95% success rate of clearing virus. cant do anything about advanced cirrossis. I guess I will stick with the winners on this forum. Am I supposed to be having so many charlie horses and cramping before treatment? I am sorry that i am rambling I will go now thanks for listening. Bllue

I over did it Fri, (long drive to doctor and they took lots of blood!)
Sat and Sun..busy and Monday I was flat out, migraine and my fatigue and chronic pain was bad.
I wish I knew what this pain thing was about. 3 years now. all tests done and many doctors..no one knows.
I try to think positive. That clearing the virus will help me to keep making progress.. It is so much better than in 2012... 2013 was better than the year before. Very slow progress, but I wake up every day feeling like i am bruised and battered. Every tendon and muscle is tight…

oops. Hgb recovered by .8 of 4 points and Hct increased by 5 points. Can I blame it on the meds...lol...i have been blaming alot on the meds (even though i know the meds are not to blame in most instances).

I am not even UND at 4 weeks. I was disappointed. Got results today...blood drawn yest. My HCV RNA went from over 6 million down to 124 though, which isn't shabby.
I had a 4 pt. drop in my Hgb the first 13 days of treatment and they reduced my Ribavirin to 800 daily with the Sovaldi. I would guess that, by the end of next week I will be UND but that the reduction in ribavirin slowed my clearance a bit. My Hct/Hgb have recovered by .8 of the 4 points...so I feel alot better. I guess if they are concerned, they will let me know and will increase my ribavirin to 1000mg.

i will get copies of my 2 week labs then for my records. i am interested in seeing the CBC and my alt ast and creatinine as the nurse said on my voice mail a few weeks ago that they all have improved.
this is so wonderful to be able to do this treatment!
some headaches off and on and bloating/gas but hey really nothing to complain about.
getting fresh air and yoga, tub/ jacussi sp? everyday..more food in me too! the depression is pretty much gone..only sad/upset when i have the chronic muscle spasm and fatigue that is so frustrating..that started 3 years ago…but i think the pain is a lot less than before ...so i will continue to just take it easy..the hell with the house work!

IDK i have been feeling better this 3rd week.. maybe that 2nd week with the fatigue and depression was the time my body was really fighting it off.
Now that's something to celebrate.....Know that we are all in your corner, and feel your almost there. SVR is right around the corner.. Kim
