"then the forum went for profit and it became about quantity instead of quality."
Does that mean the more we visit and post, the bigger the check sent to us by MedHelp??? hehe. I didn't realize this forum had so many benefits. ;-)
We aren't supposed to post any religious type stuff so be careful.............those days are long gone bye too just like the 6 threads a day. I'm not as old school and can only remember when we were each allowed like 3 a month or something I remember posting on my one same old thread over and over and over.........then the forum went for profit and it became about quantity instead of quality.
Although an old poop thread here and there was always as good as fishbone threads.
Thank you, it was a sweet post and funny too!
Well, that's really good to hear goofy.
And I'm unlikely to forget about the poop references.
But I don't object to people pooping or talking endlessly about poop.
"...and I remember the day when we had only 6 threads per day."
I remember that too. I'm unlikely to forget it, as much as it's brought back up. I also remember the old metal rotary phones that hurt your finger when you dialed too much. But I don't object to people using their cell phones.
I see a lot of that stuff on the medical side too.
I'm old school - really old school - and I remember the day when we had only 6 threads per day. We guarded them zealously and if someone started a thread that wasn't dead serious everyone would go nuts. I don't go crazy anymore but since MH has provided us with a social HCV forum I think it's better if we try to keep the medical side medical.
Hey, at least you thought about it so you are somewhat sensitive to the issue.
It's no big thing.
Good luck,
Mike
You are so sweet! Thanks for the words of encouragement!
big hugs,
christina
I did pause for a second, Mike, before I posted this. However, I have been reading posts on here for weeks now and lots of people write words of encouragement and need/want to hear words of encouragement from others.
Thanks for the other link suggestion.
