The 5-hour trip must have been brutal.
If you are planning a trip back and “The Big D.” problem is still an issue, you may want to consider contacting NASA. You may find some on EBay

NASA astronaut Lisa Nowak lifted off from Kennedy Space Center aboard space shuttle Discovery last July 4. Like all shuttle astronauts, she was wearing space diapers -- in NASA speak, Maximum Absorbency Garments, or MAGs.
MAGs don't generally get much attention, but this week they ended up in bizarre headlines after Nowak drove 900 miles from Houston to Orlando wearing her diapers -- according to police, so she wouldn't waste any time at rest stops on her quest to hunt down Colleen Shipman, an employee at an Air Force base near the space center.
Now if I could get back in the groove of dealing with sx in the morning then get to work on time I would be ok, gotta remember how much it takes to give and how long sometimes it takes to have something to give again. Looks like l will be a little late for work today, at least I'll make it if the big d will ever subside.
I'm glad this worked out for you. Even though I came out and said basically .. "are ya nuts???" :) I'm one who's always pushing limits but there was just stuff about this that I just had to throw in an opinion on. You took it very well and even tossed back with humour to my comment on chianti and fava beans...good on you. :) I'm glad that everyone was so understanding with you and that you were treated so well. I've done things on treatment that exhausted the heck out of me but that were also worth it and in the end, only we can decide ourselves and so you did. Again....I'm very glad this worked out well for you. Nice story. :)

Attitude
by
Charles Swindoll
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude to me, is more important than facts. It is more important
than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances,
than failures, than successes, than what people think or say or do.
It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make
or break a company...a church....a home.
The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude
we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change
the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have....and that is
OUR ATTITUDE...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and
90% how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of out attitude.
Your the best really a trouper enjoyed this true life real novela
and I can see this is how you will get through the trying times of your tx journey you just jump in and do what you want your motivation lives! that is fantastic and a real good inspiration for all of us tied to the house and afraid to just make that move that can make all the difference in our outlook and attitude which seems to be the key to success as much as anything else
big Abrazos so nice to hear your story and read all the posts thereafter
Alright am out of work today, diarrhea, resting, sleeping, really tired, Hep Dr, finally called in my phenegran. I gotta admit I am really wasted, but the trip was worth it.
I did have to take that rest or nap, and listen to my body, or it might of quit talking to me if you know what I mean.
It showed me that we can do things in our state of health, but I would have died of exhaustion if everyone wasn't so understanding and concerned.
I am talking about the concern on this site also,
Thanks everybody
I wish my damn hemoglobin would get right.
