FABULOUS song replacement lyrics....
You are da man!!!!

My hubby has been wonderful and he gives me my shots every week and listens to me vent & moan about my doctor not responding to my needs.
He gets the kids out of the line of fire when I am yelling and screaming and he tells me to go take a valium.
I hope this makes our marriage stronger in the end and we slay the dragon together.

Thanks for making all of us smile with your humor and wisdom!

Hang in there! You'll wonder where the time went once you're done. I managed to get through the 48 weeks fairly easily...now that I can look back on it. The most persistent side for me was headaches.

Back to the bumps...either I just didn't notice them on treatment or they weren't there. The first was on my index finger and it really felt like it was on the bone. That disappeared and one came up on my middle finger. The latest was on my thumb and that's going down too. Who knows? They feel like a small hard under-skin pimple, but swell up to about half-dime size and are a bit sore to touch.

I was on the IDEAL Schering/LaRoche study and the level of care has been excellent.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Cheddarhead, that sounds exactly like what i have only mine are on my thigh and they haven't gone away. Plse keep me posted of what you find out about it. Just finished 24 wk treatment 3 wks ago and am feeling much better physically but emotionally i'm a wreck over my hair falling out in clumps. This side effect just started 3 wks ago!

I've had the same. I finished treatment (48 wks, Peg/Copeg) in early May and noticed a hard bump under finger skin on my right hand. It got bigger, redder, and a bit sore, and then disappeared overnight. Since then I've had them on two other right hand fingers. They seem to come and go. I have an appointment next month and I'll ask about them. Hope you're doing OK otherwise.

I have similar red bumps mostly on lower legs, a few on arms and a few on my chest.  Hep Dr said it was different then Riba rash I'm experiencing and sent me to Derm Dr. Derm said it was interferon vascular ooze.

Yuck!  Told me to buy firm compression socks at the drug store and wear them during the day.  It really works, and really helps me to be able to sit at my computer and stand up longer.  They've turned into brown freckels.  I still have a few pop up here and there but the compression socks help my lower legs 95%.  When resting keep your legs and arms elevated. The dermatologist explained I was having some fluid retention in my extremities caused by the interferon build up, and this was oozing from the tiny spider veins causing the little red bumps.

I hope the freckels fade after time.

Brn I'd grl.  Sorry haven't experience the hard round cysts.

how long have you been treating? R they like what I described or something different? I remember someone posting that A&D ointment is also good. The woman who posted (I forget who) had a daughter who was a nurse....and it worked for her....I'm gonna try that as well as the Selsum Blue. Gotta do somethin'.

what do ya mean by cysts? I have red bumps/spots primarily on lower legs, some on my arms...some on thighs..etc. is this what you're talking about? Looks like some kinda pox! I'm using hydrocortisone cream (prescrip) and also Gold Bond triple anti itch lotion (green & red bottle). i was told to put both on twice a day..but i haven't been..I forget. They started beginning of tx..(now I'm 10 weeks into it) and they haven't gone away...ever. No shorts or skirts this summer! My Hep Dr. told me to try Selsum Blue (dandrff shampoo) in the bath...but have yet to try it. I hope this is helpful..and that we are talking about the same thing. Let me know if this info is significant.
