well last night I had pains again in mt belly button where my hernia is and so I was looking at my belly button and I noticed it was moving it was so frightning i scared my sister it looked like I had a alien in my stomach or a worm or am i pregnant or i dont know what should i do someone maybe it was just my bowels in my intestine should I have it check out this weekend at the ER I almost went to the ER last night because i was in pain as it moved it almost look like I had a snake moving in my stomach growse strange what can it be?What should i do? can a doctor help answer my question?
It could be the bowel in the hernia which was moving. Bowels move with peristalsis, as food moves in the bowel. However, the hernia needs to be repaired to prevent complications like strangulation. Please consult your primary care physician for further evaluation.
thank you so much it did help me I'm currently awaiting to be scheduled for surgery it's just seems to be taking a while I assume because of the holidays but i pray that soon I will get the surgery done until then i will keep calling and asking whast taking so long for them to schedule me for surgery thanks again happy new year
It's amazing how they haven't called me yet for surgery and i dont have insurance so i have to wait on them because i was financially asessed with them so i pay les or not at all wow i wonder if as I lose weight can it stop sticking out cause i'm losing but i know i would still have to close the hole idk but i wish they would hurry and call me for surgery cause it does hurt still from time to time very bad
so i finally got a response turns out that the last doctor I saw didn't follow up with me getting surgery my case was pushed aside so i went back to the hospital in the surgical clinic now they claim they will call me in a few days and I will get surgery and I need to get the weight off cause it can reoccur and that the movement may have been bowels so that's that
Understand your predicament, but please don't worry. The surgery is best performed as an elective surgery with all the adequate precautions, to prevent recurrence. So, as you wait for the surgery try to lose weight and if a diabetic, see that it is adequately controlled. But if you develop pain or redness or any signs of inflammation, please consult your doctor immediately. Good Luck.

Good to see you recovered well and are planning to lose weight. Perseverance is the key word when it comes to losing weight. There are no magic ways and please ensure to take the right nutrients while trying to lose weight as this may in the long run affect your health. Start by keeping a food diary, this way you can plan what to avoid. Get the caloric count of all the food you eat. Try not to eat all deep fried and high calorie food and replace with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. You can develop habits that will enable you to lose weight like eat a carrot before your meals, this will ensure that you eat less and is also healthy. So develop your own style which is comfortable to you and keep at it. Hope this helps and Good Luck.
so I have my surgey in febuary and now i have a keyloy however you spell it also i notice I have a lump in my stomach I think I'm pregnant becuase I had breast milk I threw up and I had very sore brest also I had sore bloody gums nut then when I felt a lump near my belly button I thought maybe it's umbilical hernia so far all test sya I'm not pregnant I did miss my period in october and november just got it on the 3rd of december so now Im unsure what the lump is. I went to the doctor they say it may be scar tissue but i felt like they were rushing me out teilling me anything idk what do you think?
If the pregnancy tests are negative and you have got your periods you are unlikely to be pregnant. Sometimes the bleeding can be due to an ectopic pregnancy, abortion or pelvic inflammatory disease. Other possibilities are thyroid disorders, where an imbalance of the hormone thyroxine can cause menstrual irregularities, and abnormally high levels of prolactin can also cause irregular periods. The other causes could also be due to uterine growths or fibroids and endometriosis to name a few. The lump you feel could be scar tissue. So, please consult your doctor and discuss these possibilities with him.
