Are these herpes symptoms

About 11 days ago I had protected oral and vaginal sex with a colombian escort.  about four days after the encounter I noticed a red spot near the top of my pubic hair line.  The spot is really small, about the size of a pea and it is under my pubic hair line at the top right in the middle, about 2-3 inches over my penis. It is not raised that i can noticed... it doesn't itch and there are no blisters or anything whatsoever...  The spot has been there for about 7 days.  I know it doens't sound like the classic symptoms of an std. but could this be herpes??  Other than that i've just had a bit of itching and tingling on my scrotum but i guess its just nervousness.  Other than that about the same time the red spot appeared, i noticed on the side of my thigh, near my hip on the left side a couple of pimples, but separated by about half an inch. they are healing about after a week, they don't itch or have bursted or anything. they seem like normal pimples. i bursted one of the and it had a bit of pus and blood but thats it and it has already healed. what do you think??

Hi,
I don't know if it's appropriate for me to comment here, so feel free to ignore this.

I'm a 19yo female, and have noticed a similar-sounding mark in my piubic region. There's no itch, pain or discomfort, but I have noticed more discharge than usual although it's clear and watery. I had just stopped taking the pill, as it messed with my periods, and had unprotected sex 4 weeks ago, followed by a ECP. I've never been tested, as this was only my 2nd sexual partner. Should I?

Could this be similar to the original questioners condition? Or could it be something like a hormone imbalance due to the pills?

There is a picture here, although I'm not too sure it's all that clear http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=jglgqv&s=3

If you've been tested in the past, then I don't think you need to do it again, based on this episode.  This could be most anything - bacterial, fungal, just so hard to say from a distance.

Maybe this could be something simple like a bacterial/topic infection/skin infection or something... since nothing itches, hurts, has pinples or anything... and nothing has really cleared up much.

I had been tested before this encounter and it was negative for both 1 and 2. It was herpeselect.    The spot is vanishing away. Other than that... last sunday i noticed another one but this one is a bit tender to the touch. It's not itchy, it doesn't hurt, it has no pimples or anything whatsoever... it is located in the line between my groin and thigh.. .about inch and a half away from my penis.  It has been two days and it doen't really bother, hurt or itch.  I have had these in the past bur very very rarely.

I think only testing to determine if you've ever been infected, not necessarily for this exposure.

Thanks for your response. That's exactly what i thought.  Would you really recomend testing?  If I don't have any problems what so ever during the next 6-12 months do you think it would be a good sign a

None of these symptoms sound like genital herpes to me.  You were using condoms, which is great, for both oral and vaginal sex.  The itching on your scrotum could be anything and is, of course, common in men, especially in the summer.  The pimples on the thigh area also don't worry me.  Most people reading this have experienced something similar.  There is really nothing to test here by swab, so that isn't going to provide you with any new information.  You could do herpes antibody testing in several weeks if you wish, or you could get baseline herpes testing now to see if you might have been infected sometime in the past.   But as to this current experience and symptoms, they just don't sound worrisome to me.
