Is that possible for cold sores to reoccur with in the same week?

I think I got another cold sore. I just finished having one and while the first was healing another came out. Is that possible for  cold sores to reoccur with in the same week? because I am not sure if it is one. all I know is that it feels like one but it has not erupted into a full blown blister and it was not gone through any of the other stages such as the weeping stage. I just see little bumps and it irritates.

if you aren't sure if this is another cold sore or not, see your provider.

You can sometimes get back to back cold sores.

Thanks for the advice. I have an appointment on the 16 of this month which to me is kinda far, and I want to get rid of the Cold sore asap!!

way too late for an appointment then to be of much help if this is a cold sore.

call your provider and ask them to call in a prescription for the cold sore doses of one of the herpes antivirals for you to try. if you get cold sores, it's helpful to keep some on hand to start at the very first sign of a possible cold sore.
