Can herpes show up in one area and take a longer time to show up in another area?
Help! I'm really scared. I am waiting for test results to come back to see if an infection on my breast is herpes. It hasn't shown up anywhere else yet, but the person that this would be from (if it is herpes) also gave me oral the same day. Can it show up in one area and then take longer to show up in another area, or would it show up all at once? I'm very worried that genial herpes could show up later. I asked him if he has cold sores, and he said no, but his could be asymptomatic.
Well,in case anybody reads this thread looking for answers about similar symptoms, my test back from the doc. Those lesions were definitely HSV1 on my breast. No other outbreaks on other sites as of today.
Your flu like symptoms do not suggest a pending outbreak on another area. It may be due to this outbreak but fever, body aches and swollen lymph nodes happen when lesions are forming. Not a week later.
It's likely that it would've shown up by now but not always. Hsv can be tricky this way. All in all the odds are low. Describe the lesions on your breasts. This type of infection is not common.

It's extremely sore and has greenish puss.It new blisters have been developing, and then they graduate to oozing the green puss. It's been there for about a week and a half and seems to get little less painful since last night.The first thing the doctor said when he saw it was that it looks like it can be herpes related. It started a few days after mouth contact to that area. Still waiting for swab results.
Now today, I feel sort of achy and not so great with a sore throat maybe starting. Could this be a second outbreak in another location starting up, or would it be from the body be still fighting a first outbreak? Is there a time frame when flu-like symptoms are most common or not common?

Oh, and last night there was this burning tingly feeling in the general area, and that's when I looked and saw that there were new blisters.
Concentrated around the nipple.
How likely is it that another outbreak in another area will pop up from exposure the same day to another area? If it infected another area, would it likely have broken out by now, or does it take longer to show up in some areas?
It doesn't sound like herpes in your armpit. Unfortunately all you can do is wait for the test results. Hsv1 when it's a genital infection isn't that bad at all. It has few outbreaks and sheds very little. Sprrading hsv1 through intercourse is very rare.
Now I am really freaking out. There are two of what looks upon closer examination like 2 whiteheads in my armpit (same side as the breast that they swabbed to test for herpes). They don't hurt in my armpit, though. But in freaking out because I used the same razor earlier tonight to shave my armpits, pubic area and legs. I'm deathly afraid that it'll spread. Does this sound like it's herpes in my armpit?

It's differant for everyone. Is it likely that you acquired hsv in multiple locations at the same time? No, but it is possible. If you did acquire hsv in multiple locations you could have an outbreak or not.

It showed up on my breast within 2-3 days, but now I see a new blister in my arm pit. Wondering how long it would take if i were also going to see genial herpes from oral sex. The exposure was 9-11 days ago because it happened from one of three days.
