Accuracy of herpes biokit test

Hi grace, i took a herpes 2 biokit test at 6 weeks after possible exposure, and i got a negative reading. My question is is if that was sufficient time to have taken that test? Also i have been having a bad case of balanitis, is balanitis related to herpes? I have gone to 3 planned parenthood clinics and all have assured me that the balanitis is not due to herpes in my case.

Listen to the professionals you've visited. 6 weeks is to soon to be conclusive but if you haven't had lesions then it's probably not hsv related.

Thanks for you response, when would be the best time to test to get a conclusive result?
12 weeks or so. Your biokit test at 6 weeks is about 70% so that's a real good sign.
