Acyclovir & hair loss

HI everyone,

Ive been on supression for about 6 months now. curious if acyclovir is known to cause hair loss? would it be in one concentrated area , like alopecia, or overall thinning?

Thanks for the help!

try a few different lubes until you find one that seems to work better for you. Water based lubes don't last very long but will reactivate with water, some folks keep a spray bottle at the bedside and mist themselves periodically during sex instead of just putting on more and more lube during sex. Silicone lubes tend to last a little longer but I've found that they are stickier. Have noticed I put my hands about the same place all the time during sex on the wall....he he he

Thanks grace :)

Another question. I just started a relationship with a man. Hes fine with me having HSV2. Weve only had sex twice, but both times, right after we finished the deed, i have vaginal tearing/irritation (or is this an outbreak?). I've been with 2 other people before i was dignosed and have never had an issue of pain or tearing.

My question is: could an outbreak come that fast after intercourse? Its in the same place i get my OB's, but it def doesnt feel/look the same. Is it common for sex to trigger an outbreak every time? it doesnt feel or look like an OB, but who knows?  we used lube, ect.

I'm worried. I dont want to pass it on. Like i said im on supression.

Thank you thank you!!!

it typically isn't associated with hair loss. Most folks who experience thinning hair with herpes antivirals, only experience it during the stress of the initial infection and it grows back to normal after a few months and is purely a stress reaction.
