Do I have herpes

I recieved unprotected oral sex from an escort back in September. Since then my urethra itches from time to time. I had 2 urine test for std's and blood test that came back negative. I didn't get tested for herpes. I had a rough patch of skin on the head of my penis a month ago... I used Cortizone cream and it went away a day after using the cream. Now I'm getting this throbbing sensation at the tip of my penis near the urethra opening. No sores. My wife is complaining about irratation around her anus. I saw online that this could be a herpes symptom. Could I have herpes from an encounter in September and not have sores. Please help.

Not only may you not have sores but there are people who never show any symptoms and others who have horrible outbreaks!! It's a highly vairable disease....

You could.  A simple type specific herpes IgG blood test will tell you if you do or not.
